The Best battery on the market is the new Sears Platinum deep cycle , with tons of CCA, reserve and a 5 year warranty, in either a 34 or 51 series size.

I've had good luck with duralast gold batteries. FYI there are only a few battery manufacturers so there is not that much of a difference between brands. Get the highest CCA and longest warranty you can afford.

If you're not running an electric winch a Platinum starting battery will be fine. Plenty of RC for aux loads. Like a P1 or P4. About $189.

The Sears platinum have a full 5 year warranty not like others that are pro-rated.

Its 4 year replacement/100 month prorated on the platinum, the golds are 3 year/100 months

Duralast golds are also 3 years/100 months. You pay twice as much for the extra year replacement that the platinum has.

I bought a sears platinum when they first came out and it was 5 full years non-prorated. I guess they changed the warranty.

Duralast Gold, I've had mine for 3 years, 1000 cranking amps and 900 cold cranking amps, 5 year warranty and was under $100.
It is made by Johnson Controls in Holland MI.
It was a Consumer Reports Best Buy when I bought it.
