Default Got my new tires, General Grabber AT2

Hey Gents,

So after trying the Falken ZIEX STZ/04 i've decided to move on and try something a little more rugged. The Falkens were a quiet tire & were pretty affordable they were pretty useless in the snow. Living in NJ and spending a few wknds in Vermont have proven these tires to be sub-par for what i needed them for.

So movign on i decided to save up teh extra scratch and get the AT2's

I just mounted them so i will report more on them as i log miles...

I got all 4 tires on EBAY for $380! Teh previous owner had them on a Cayenne for 1K miles and said it made for an undesirealbe ride!!!

That'll teach'em to use a Porsche as an SUV... LOL!

Here's a few pics of them mounted, Sorry for beign dirty but we're going to Belleayre in NY for some Snowboarding so not washing her just yet!

The aggressive profile makes it look a little larger. I am planning on getting 265/65/18 for the stock suspension and if any problems, will trow a lift at it.

Hey Fella's,

I just wanted to give any potential buyers a review after having these wheels moounted for 6mos. now.

I have to say that i have definitely felt a little loss in MPGfrom the more aggressive thread pattern. It's not so bad but i think i loss a gallon or two??

This passed year in NJ we recieved NO SNOW at all! I can't believe it but it was pretty dry out here. I did my Yearly Vermont nowboarding trip with the wife and a few friends and we all piled in the truck. No extra road noise that was noticeable for me and the ride was very compliant. No major snow to get into Vermont aswell so i cannot comment. Tire wear is hard to gauge for me since the truck is gettting minimal use these days. But they still look like they were when i mounted them.

All in all, i'm happy with the look of them and the manners are to be expected from a tire that is this aggressive. They look great with a little mud on them and just as nice when they got some tire shine.

I will post another follow-up if/when the snow comes down
