Default Ha, a tree just fell on my disco...

Right after the 3 amigos came back this evening (bad right rear sensor, no biggie) came back inside and boom a tree fell on my truck (bad windstorm). Can't help but laugh. The hood is dented as and the left signal is cracked but that is it. So now both of my cars are beat up (wife just crashed the corolla). At least the hood is easy to replace.

Yeah what else can you do, I had just moved the truck forward 2 ft. I'm lucky I found this site so I can now fix things myself. I will take pics in the morning.

We had a big tree branch fall on my daughters Lexus this year. We had comp on it and there was no deductible for the insurance to fix it. Maybe tell them the wheel bearing went too when the branch fell

sorry to hear that, but like spike said, good thing no one is hurt.

contact weber brothers (if you're near Lebanon PA), they have a few DII's in the yard now and can help with your hood and light deal (if you don't have a source; btw, I'm in no way affiliated with them. I buy salvaged parts from them). let me know if you need contact info for them.

Replace the lens so you are legal. Wear the dent in the hood as a Rover badge of honor. Spend the money you would have spent on cosmetic repairs on something more useful, like a head gasket replacement.....

I'm going to try to get a hood from Justin at lucky8, I know he has some wrecked discos and he is local. I will have pics in a few hours as I have to go cut up the tree and move it.
