Has anyone made the tool for removing the radio?
The tool # is 86-006 in the rave manual. If i had the dimensions i would make it and take out my deck, or maybe someone has a better/easier way of unhooking the clips. Thanks in advance.

some say you can do it with a pair of small screwdrivers, the tool can be got at any audio or most auto parts stores for a few dollars. I stop at a audio place and told them it had to be removed to change the bulds in the heater control, it was a freebie I thru the kid $10 for coffee.

I used 2 paper clips, the jumbo ones. It worked!

Use the metal support out of a hanging file folder cut in half. It mimics the tool perfectly.

What Photocrimes said! then tape the ends that you grasp

D2s have two flat slots near the top of the radio head, unlike the D1 apparently.

What radio have you decided to install?
