Default Headlamp Condensation

My Drivers side headlamp on my '04 Disco has some condensation in it now. I've read here on the forum that you need to drill some holes in the headlamp to allow the condensation to escape. I'm a little unclear as to exactly where the best place is to drill the holes. Can somebody post a picture showing where they drilled their headlamp?

Actually, you need to make sure all of the caps and o-rings are in place and sealing properly. The headlights have their own vents and shouldn't need extras so long as there isn't extra water getting in them. There is a TSB for this.

I agree make sure everything is sealed properly. Check the bulb housing makes sure its on tight. I had it lose once and I had tons of water getting in my headlights. I had to drain them and reinstall.

I bet a rock went into the lens or glass.
Put a bead of RTV into the hole in the glass.

Or move to Phoenix AZ.

Me too... but I'm going to blame the previous owner.

It's all better now after I drained the water, replaced the bulb and put it all back together securely.

Thanks, I'll pull the headlamp and check all the seals, no rocks or chips in the front so it's not getting in that way.
