Default headlight

I could use some help here, i got a call from the wife say all her headlight went out this morning.
She says she has taillights and brake light, just no headlight it there a common ground?
anyone come across this before?

I had the same problem with my 2000, a wire had come loose on the socket and shorted out the head lights.

the wife is driving the 2000 today . thanks i will check the bulbs for power when i get home.
did you blow any relays or fuses or just the bulbs?

Here is the bizarre part, nothing blew it would make contact and off the headlights went.

thank-you sir.

I picked up a couple bulbs and a universal socket and went to her work, just as it go dark. popped both lenses and low and behold there is the passenger bulb socket all black and crusty, replace the socket and bulbs, their was light.

1. thx i could have spent hours check fuses, grounds and relays.

2. i finally found something LR did right, the remove of the front lights.
all most every other car the bulbs change from the inside which means moving the air box, battery or a million hidden screws. it was kind of fun to just walk up and pop them out.
