Default Heated windsheild replacement

I took a rock hit that spidered the windsheild, Well I took it into the glass shop, they replaced the glass , drove it home 5 miles and parked it and let it sit much to my suprise the new one cracked .... They are going to replace it ... Question is thisgoing to be trouble or just a bad piece of glass???

If you have comprehensive insurance, most will cover the broken windshield replacement 100% if the crack is large. If the crack is small they may try toinsist on repairing it. I've had two windshields replaced that way in the past with no money out of my pocket.

When mine was replaced (in my driveway) I was told not to drive it for a couple of hours and to not remove the tape around the mouldings for 48 hours.

That's a tough job. I had mine replaced 3 times before they got it right. Insurance covered it with a $50 deductable because the crack was bigger than a quarter.
