I've owned a Landy for a total of 3 days, but experience with other cars tells me something is wrong electrically. Lit up like a christmas tree!

do the ECUs go bad on these? Someone who knows more than me chime in.

You need to have the codes read with a Land Rover specific computer.

ECUs can go bad, but not 100% common.

trans ECU is under one of the seats. Have you had any water get inside? The D with the slash makes me think the trans ECU. Again, one big guess without reading the codes.

It will clear it but pops right back I just was hoping there was a trick to resetting the anti theft module itself I'm in Nc

Where are you from in North Carolina? I'm in Boone.

As for your issue, the last time I ran into trouble with the anti theft system the car immobilized itself. No lights lit up and the car seemed dead. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for ~6 hours then reconnected the battery and it fired right up. No clue why, electronics can be weird sometimes. This probably won't work in your situation but I'd give it a shot.

PS: I have a hawkeye scanner tool for land rovers. If you are close I'd be fine with letting you borrow it if it's helpful.
