Or just replace with rubber hose, that nylon stuff gets brittle over time

Just plug it for now. It's not critical.

Made one out of cooper tubing, 1/4 inch l believe...no more worries. I've replaced the other line with copper, one that runs along top of radiator, too. You'll need a flaring tool and just do a partial flare, first step of double flare, to create a small ridge, to help hold hose from sliding off.

Don't really want to get into the debate of whether or not to replace...but being so close to the mountains and with all the elevation changes, temperature of northern range and humdity changes...with being so close to the ocean...some of these issues or sudden changes "could" lead to a problem. Having the throttle stick...coming down the side of a mountain would not be good...whether it was enhanced by a dirty throttle body or not. Where you are located and all things considered...l'd error on the side of caution/safety in this case.
