Default Help! I bent my bumper

I had to use the to use the tow hook on the front bumper to bull a few trees down, and one stump out (it's a long story, but these trucks are awesome off road). Now my bumper is bent: I was pulling in reverse, low range, using the metal loop on the driver's side - 03 SE.

When you look at the truck from the frontthere is noticibly less clearance between the bumper and driver's headlight than there is between the bumper and the passenger headlight. You can stick your fingers between them on the passenger side, but not the driver's. Also, it is difficult to put the grille in ( I had to replace a bulb) - where the rubber is inserted into the bumper it gets in a bind because the bumper cover is pushed back a bit.

Can I just loosen the front bumper and straighten everything out? Or have I done some major damage?

Where can I get some good tow hooks? Are any built into brush guards?

Your bumper was not made for being pulled on nor were the crush cans that attach the bumper to the frame. It is hard to say what was bent, most likely a combination of different parts.
All I can say is good luck and if it doesn't work, you can always use this as an excuse to but on a real bumper and make a statement.
