Default Help with lifting

So I have a 99 disco 2 and want to lift her higher. Right now I have a 2 inch coil spacer lift in the front and sold the spacers for the back. What I'm looking at doing now was buying a RTE 3 inch heavy duty spring set and placing the spacers under these in the front again, giving me a total of 5 inchs in the front and 3 in the back. I want to fit 35's under her. I know that i will have to replace the front drive shaft which is not a problem. But I just wanna know what the pros and cons are of placing the spacers under the new springs. Thanks

2 inch spacers and a 2 inch lift springs ok with three inch your pushing it......

Now, you will have to change much more than a drive shaft this drive train was not built for 35s and you will have more problems. Your diffs will fail and transfer case will need to be re geared. Front and rear drive shafts, and much more....

Let's see... New re-geared diffs...ilockers. heavy duty axles, extended brake and ABS lines. Custom front and rear prop shafts, drag link, tie rod ends, I would suggest larger brake rotors. You will need to alter the shock mounts. and the list goes on...
If you are serious about this you should give Justin a call at Lucky 8. as well as Bill from Great Basin Rovers.

You are looking at $3500 worth of work for a tall lift and big tires. Might want to Read up on the RTE site what is needed handle your direction then back down to a good 3" coil lift from RTE .
What sort of wheel are you planning on?
