Default Help..............Me.............

Sorry, It's so pathetic, but...........I need part number for the "hood stay rod grommet" and that stupid little plastic "female" snap piece for rear bin. I just don't want to look at old threads. And new threads are kinda cool. Thanks, Clint Eastwood and Minwax, for your help.

You could just go without one, or, like I've done, make do with a conventional grommet that's a sloppy fit but does the job. But if you want the real deal, here you go.

LAND ROVER RANGEROVER CLASSIC/DISCOVERY2 99-04 GROMMET FOR BONNET PROP AYA10004L

You could also just replace the bonnet prop with gas struts and not have to worry about it.

None of my LR's have that silly grommet. TX heat kills em way to fast.

Curious, can someone post a pic of where this grommet is located?

Hood prop where it is held to the hoop/circle. Not to be mistaken for the metal clip side.

I just purchased the grommet from Amazon, like Min01 posted. Now I can have civility. Grey Poupon never tasted so sweet

I bought the rubber grommet at a Lowe's hardware bin for pennies; fits better than original. Looks like the one on edge, bottom row :

Cannot discern which you mean by "stupid little plastic "female" snap piece for rear bin¨
