Time to sell, my boy needs a car.

2004 Discovery 2 SE7 with 156k miles.

New pulleys and belt

Vinyl floors in lieu of the carpet
Fixed sunroofs with painted headliner
3" lift with Terrafirmas
Frame has been treated internally and externally with Eastwood
Tires have less than 200 miles
Rear axle was completely rebuilt along with new diff
Transmission and transfer case has been serviced
Tom Woods front driveshaft
Brand new steering wheel from Redline goods
Wavy dashboard fixed with marine grade epoxy
Both ACs have been serviced
I have receipts and photos of everything I've done

The bad:
I think one ball joint is starting to go

Some flaws on the paint
Transfer case has a small leak
Lower cowl cover is heavily cracked
Right rear door has an air leak

You can find my build thread here: Family rig

1. How long since the water pump, hoses, bottle, and radiator were changed?
2. Any trouble codes?
3. In my opinion, repairing the rear bumper and cowl will add value exceeding the cost. Most people do not want to buy projects.

Read your build thread, excellent job.

I would appraise/value the truck at between $6000 to $9000 if the bumper and cowl are corrected before selling, the other stuff is inconsequential. Market is changing quickly with the trend being up, your truck appears to be very well taken care of.

GLWS.

Thanks Extinct, greatly appreciate it. I think I'll follow your suggestion and sort out the bumper and cowl. The windshield has a small nick so I will be replacing it too. I have two new A-pillar covers ready to be installed too.

Great looking truck @RoverPA having bought an 04’ D2 with the exact same number of miles on it recently I had to agree with @Extinct.

Depending on the local market for Disco’s in your area I would say the high end of the range in Extinct’s post, or even higher is very achievable.

To the right person the 3 inch lift and other goodies add value, and the new leather on the wheel and all the other aesthetic repairs make a huge difference when someone comes to look at it.

$9k is not unreasonable at all IMO.

Consider Bring a Trailer or Cars and Bids in lieu of your local craigslist or eBay auction. Will get more enthusiast attention, even if it'll be a longer process - will likely translate to a better price.
