Default hot air

I've read the manual with no luck, maybe you guys can help. On cool morning, and only on cool mornings there is an uncomfortable amount of warm air blowing through the all ventilation ports. This thing has a few more bells and whistles than my other vehicle, so am I just not accustomed to this unwarranted treatment, or is something wrong??

I like to drive to work with the windows down/cracked to get some fresh air, so all AC controls are turned off. I've also noticed that the window de-icing kicks on automatically, but that is easy to turn off. Please help, how do I stop this warm air circulation?

What year truck?
Rover does have some warm/hot air issues with the freh air temp. I had my head control unit replaced by Rover when mine was real bad, it helped some but still deal with it a little.
As for your defroster coming on, is it after you turn on the defroster to clear the windshield, if so that is normal.

If you are still under warranty I would go talk to the service manager, not the writer, and ask him about it. Also tell him you heard there was a TSB out from Rover for the eariler D2's and see it it might help on yours.
