How do your keep your Discovery II in top shape?

Well i just recently got my rover into great shape again *knock on wood
I never ever drive it hard
Never brake hard
Switch to green coolant
Always watch the gauges
Keep up with the fluid changes
Listen for anything weird
I treat the leather in the truck every month
Try to wash and wax at least 2 times a semester
Try not to drive it too often lol
Pray
I don't really do this but the previous owner told me that before he parked the vehicle he would always put the truck in neutral, then put the hand brake on, release the brake, and then put the shifter in park. He said it puts less wear on the transmission. So he says.

i lube the shafts and slip joints every oil change. i rotate tires every 2 changes and clean the brakes with wheels off. i lube the door, hood, and rear hinges every oil change. i clean under the hood once a month and give everything a light coat of spray wax so when i off road mud and grime does not stick as easy to all the gizmos under the hood. once a year i clean all the electrical connections. i vacuum and treat the interior every 3 months. i park in a garage and after driving and parking inside i lift the hood to let all the heat escape and to give all the rubber and plastic under the hood longer life by not cooking it. high grade gas only. as with fluids. i DO NOT drive it like a ferrari or a sports car. easy on the gas and easy on the brakes. odd rattles or sounds get investigated ASAp and not ignored.
