I think it was one of the very first purchased in mid 1994 at Andrews Land Rover in Nashville, TN. It has been a southern car all its life. I have owned it since it was new and put every mile on it. It still runs and has never had the head removed!

I plan on selling it soon. With that many miles I am selling it as a parts car even though it runs fine. Body is very good with some paint hazing and frame is solid with no rust. It has the jump seats and two sun roofs (I have the fuses pulled and blocked shut) and dual A/C. All electrics work but there is a SRS and ABS light but I don't bother with that since it doesn't effect performance. Still gets the same gas milage it got new. I'll even drive it to you if you'll pay the gas and my trip back to Beaufort SC (wife can follow me so if you want just pay the gas) Any offers?

Please dont sell it. Its rare to see anything made in the last 25 years that has performed well enough to see the 250,000 mile mark. This truck sounds like a good dog or horse that you always find room for and keep forever. But, thats just me.

186,326 miles, 1997 Discovery Series I.
It is a daily driver and I would not be afraid to drive it to Brazil and then turn around and drive it to Alaska.
