I’m not looking to sell at this exact moment but I’ve been weighing the idea and I figured I’d reach out here to see what everyone sees these selling for in this specific condition I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I have a 2003 Land Rover discovery with 67k miles.

-tf medium 2” lift
-275/65r18 bfgoodrich k02 maybe 70% tread
-arb bumper
-safety devices roof rack

Is it worth holding onto longer? I was going to use it as a backup/winter car then order a new challenger scat pack for the summer. But if it’s going to decrease in value I’ll just sell it. I only put 600 miles on it this year so far so I’m not overly attached to it

Put it on BAT and see. Based on miles and condition, I would guesstimate $15-20k

8-10 is pretty different from 15-20k could this be area dependent? Time of year?

that was just a guess. I’m in Canada and if you put a disco up for 12 k cdn it won’t sell
now that could be because they are gas pigs and gas is over a buck
but in the USA you should get more I wouldn’t be surprised if you get 15 k.
And I don’t think the value will go down

I'd say 12-14K. I know this market pretty well in the past 6-12 months.

One went for 12K on BaT today that was pretty much a base model with some great mods.

One thing -- everything underneath is painted silver or black, and the truck is in PA will scare off some buyers, including me. I would not / will not buy trucks with painted undersides. I will not buy trucks from rust belt states. Just FYI. I think that will be the biggest issue you will face in selling.

67K miles is amazing. If this were in LA without a painted underside, 20K easy.

That said, this is a very nice, well built Disco.

I am down in VA and have been in this market for some time as well. Most of the truck I restore are in the 100-150k mileage range but they sell in the 6-7k range depending on mileage. I am seeing prices going up for everything to truck that cannot be driven away to trucks that need only minor upgrades. I also stay away from trucks in rust belt states but residents of those states are somewhat less discerning than those of us that live further south and have access to trucks that have never been exposed to road salt. My valuation has to do with the fact that there are almost none left with less than 75k on the clock. There was a buyer on here less than a month ago with that as a requirement and my initial thought was "good luck with that". My take is the market is beginning to recognize what an incredible value they represent as one of the late '90s-early 00's pre-crazy level of complexity vehicles with fully modern ride, handling, and most luxury. Anyone watching LR3, LR4 or RRS technical issues as those trucks age out of warranty is getting terrified of the potential repair cost for operating one.

Sad part is since 03 I don’t think this thing has once seen winter and was stored inside a garage, I’ve only had in outside during the winter months a few times so the painted underside was to protect it if I ever did take it out but I’m sure it’ll still hurt value
