Hi

I can't get hold of the seller today - being Sunday - but need to know whether a particular Discovery has 5 or 7 seats! There are no photos of the boot area but can anybody who has a more thorough knowledge and attention to Discovery detail(!) please tell me if there's any distinguishing feature from the dashboard photos, or rear seats photos, to prove whether it has the 7 seat option?

Hope somebody can help.

If it is a Disco II, you may be able to notice from a shot of the back seats, the 3rd. Row Seating Headrests which fold up above the rear tail door. The other indicator may be if you can see seat belts to the right or left of the rear tail door.

 

Do you have a description of the model from the seller? For example "SE7" or "HSE7"...obviously 7 denotes 7 seats.

 

Thank you both for your helful replies. Unfortunately there is no shot going towards the rear seats - only one across the rear seats.

Call them and ask.
Or if you can get a rear bumper shot look and see if it has the step under the bumper on the drivers side.

 

the step at the rear turned out to be the golden answer! I hadn't realised they were only fitted to 7 seaters!
