Default Hurricane Laura

It looks like Hurricane Laura is headed right at Best4x4. Many of us remember his adventures and pics from three years ago when Hurricane Harvey flooded his yard up to within and inch or so of the bottom of the front door of his house. And the stories about how well one of his DIIs performed driving through deep water.

I'm thinking of you, Best4x4, hoping you come through this with no more trouble than last time. Good luck to you.

Well Laura is over, yard is a complete mess, but ZERO damage at the Rover Ranch.

Yeah I escorted my wife and youngest one to near Huntsville, TX then I drove back (in old faithful again). I went back because my father in law is staying and no way was I gonna leave him by himself. My mother inlaw and my oldest are up in NW Mississippi.

Winds are certainly going to destroy or harm my house and shop. I have all my LR's under the carport/shop and I have my big old work van trying to block the wind from one side of the hurricane. The eye looks to be coming right over my house.

Not sure if I'll have any LR's after this hurricane..... Thanks for checking with me! 3 Hurricanes in less than 10 years!!

Will hopefully be able to update everyone in the AM hours when Laura makes landfall.

Still hanging in there! Winds sound like a 737-800 & winds are out of the North currently.
