Default I got my code back, please advise!!

So here they are, please let me know whats going on!!

P0130

P1071

P1121

Thanks again fellas.. Heres what happened. When I first picked it up, it had a rough idle. After getting it home, it ran just fine and the CEL went away. Well, after filling up, Premium, 93 Octane gas, the rough idle came back and the CEL has returned.. The above codes are what I got back from my local parts store.

Thanks again you all.

Ok, quick update... Last time this happened, I put a lower octane gas in the LR and put an octane booster in with it. Don't ask me why, but when i do this with my Porsche, it seems to run a lot smoother. When I did this, this is when the CEL went off. I will run this tank of 93 octane Valero gas out and try this again and see what happens!

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks fellas.

your problem is not the valero gas. it is complete **** however and i don't use it. i used their high octane once and had misfires all over the map. i think its cut.

but besides that you are throwing a P1121 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage. that is why your rig is idling like poop. TPS needs replacement.

the other 2 are O2 codes. hopefully they will go bye bye when your TPS is fixed. if not then it may be time to replace all 4 o2's.

So besides the fact you need a TPS and some 02's, when was this engine last tuned, along with plug wires?

Octane booster will not raise your octane enough to say so.
I used to use it all the time, but then I found out it is just a waste of money.
It only raises your octane less than 1 point, so 87 will become 88 octane at best.

So the TPS? I will look in the RAVE manual. Thanks for the info. The tune up was done about 3 weeks about, plugs, wires and coil. The CEL was off today for almost all of the day, and then about 2 miles away from home, it came back on.

How hard of a job is the TPS sensor? Is this something that I can do by myself?

Thanks fellas. I will look into this and let you know what I come up with. Keep in my, this IS my first rodeo with the Discovery!!

Talk to you all later!
