Unhappy I need some help on my 01 Disco II!!!PLEASE

Just recently bought a disco 2 and driveshaft broke. Took to a local shop and had new u joints and shaft installed. Now over 20mph there is a vibration that is really annoying. Any ideas? Also local shop diagnosed power steering leak was pressurized hose going to the box. Replaced.... After a day it was leaking while sitting...again I plead any ...any ideas???

I'll bet they never replaced the centering ball kit and if that is the case it will fail very quickly. Get it back to them and have them redo their work.

Unless it was the rear, which has no centering ball.

Is it leaking from the same hose? if it is, take it back to the shop to fix properly, it should be under warranty. It could be leaking elsewhere, if they disturbed another hose installing the high pressure hose.

You should have made sure they knew what they were doing, I am sure they didn't replace the center ball kit either. Quit driving it till you can find someone to build it properly.
By the way, I have had mine rebuild 2 times and never had to have it balanced, cause when done right, it is not necessary.

Learning my lesson. Does anyone know the centering ball kit part number and is it something I can get at Autozone or similar place? Thanks for the help to all by the way

Advance Auto carries them
Nepaco 7-0081NG
Or Precision 617 from most autoparts shops.
Take it to a driveline shop to get it done, or at least to get it balanced after you do it. I suspect that the shop that did it the first time didn't reassemble it with the parts in the correct relation to each are and it's probably out of balance.
Once it all back in place be sure you grease it properly, as described in this post.
