Default I want to lift my baby

I want to lift the little lady. Im not exactly the richest kid on the planet and want to do for as little as possible. Spacers? or full on kit? I see both listed and I'm just curious as to what the ride on the spacers would be like.

what do you plan on doing with your truck? spacers will gain you an inch of body lift. you can get 2.25" from a terrafirma lift. to increase that lift you will need bigger tires which the spacers or lift will provide. you are looking at $900 for a lift and 4 tires that can get you around 5" of lift depending on tire size chosen.

This will be more for looks. I live in Florida and lets face it, if I go on any trails, there isn't much in the way of elevation change. I have already been looking at changing the size of my tires, and I just found spacers that say there will be 2.5" of lift. I'm new to the whole world of Land Rover mods. I need help!

bsnapp818, before you do your lift, have you rebuilt the front DS or done the 60K major service? If not, you may end up with a 4500 lb rock with a 2" lift. Do the basics first...

I concur 100% and would also add an oil pressure gauge and accurate temp sensor first before any lift being it is an '03. Just my opinion...

Here is the Terrifirm kit for $642 including shipping. I agree do the drive shaft and the oil gauge. I have a 2003, those are essential for piece of mind.

bsnapp818...I can write with confidence that everyone on this forum would agree that re-building the front u-joints and centering ball with greaseable parts should be your first priority...when they fail (not if, when), they usually knock a hole the size of your fist into your transmission...check this sticky for details and other excellent tid-bits: https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=26352

Then hit Lucky 8 up for the Terrafirma...
