Default Ideas for side ladder access to roof

Any better ideas to access a roof top carrier? Is there such a thing as a mounted side ladder (that isn't ridiculous)?

Default Telescopic Extension Ladder

Vary in price, quality and height and don't take up too much storage space.

IDK if I've seen a side mounted ladder other than one on a dedicated off road truck. I also know I wouldn't want one hard mounted like a rear access ladder.
IHMO number9 is right on with the telescopic ladder.
You can see it "mounted" here > https://www.trekoverland.com/product...ladder-ladd008

Rhino-Rack has this style but it will take up way more room > Rhino-Rack RFL - Rhino-Rack Folding Ladder - FREE SHIPPING!

Depending on how tall you are this adjustable tire step might be an option > https://www.etrailer.com/Accessory-S...ALL647596.html

Of course there is one of these if you're 7'00" tall but first make sure the wife isn't in the truck and the handbrake is set.

get one of these instead of a ladder and elevate yourself up and down.
