Ignition Coil Pack.

Interesting enough, I finally have all of the parts in to do this work. However I'm not seeing any misfires in the last 3 weeks. I'm guessing one of two things: 1. I got a tank of Premium that was not so premium, or 2. about a week before I saw the first misfire I'd washed out the engine bay out. The vehicle ran fine for the first week after that, but I think I could have had some trapped water from the wash messing with the coil packs or wires.
Any thoughts?

I would think so as well. but if water somehow permeated and got trapped in the rubber boots or the coil, it could take awhile to get all of the moisture evaporated. I do also suspect a bad tank of Gas. It seemed like a light switch with a fresh tank. Only ever used Premium, but I recall filling up at a station I don't normally buy premium at.

I like the way You think. I'm planning a pretty extensive PM job this winter because I don't plan on running it in the salt. Trans & Power Steering line replacement's, all coolant hoses, new fan, maybe a new water pump, inspect the motor mounts and replace if needed. This thing is running so good its unbelievable. I just want this machine to run like this forever. I'll likely just replace the plugs, & wires when I hit the rest of it.
