Default I'm going to buy Disco

I'm going to buy Disco-20000-02. It will be my first LR. Does every model have a secondary air system?
If it doesn't, what are the models without a "secondary air"? (S,SL,or ...)
I want to let my "dealer-friend" to find the car for me, but he isn't a mechanically-friendly person.
Does the secondary air system give trouble?
Any major differences between the models?
Thank you.

OK, I guess I'll have to keep doing this the hard way...yes secondary air can be trouble if not properly maintained, no I do not know how to tell which ones have it.

The difference between the models are things like leather, stereo options, sunroofs and seating. xx7 is seven passenger. Stay away from the air ride suspention.

You MUST use premium gas. And no matter what it will need to be brought up to par after you buy it.

Once you narrow it down to two or three have them looked at by a mechanic and then pick the one that needs the least amount of work.

Thank You, Spike555
I'm anauto technician and do not havemany secrets about cars.
But I'm not experienced with Land Rover.
Is there a difference between "air ride" andsuspentionwith the "airbag"?
I believe all the Discos have rear "airbag".

No they do not, it was a option. They use coil springs on all four corners.

I have never seen one without air suspension, but thats not saying they dont come standard without it. What I have seen is people making the swtich on there own (especially RR owners).
