The age of the thread would actually be the reason for the first post list to be updated by admin. There are so many secondary posts of shops that it makes the thread nearly useless. I refer to a mac computer thread about new hardware that works or doesn't an it's a 10 yr old thread updated at the beginning with discussion posts following. It is an incredibly useful database.
A sticky, updated, indy shops thread would be amazing and appreciated by many.
For example, one of the best shops in existence wasn't even on the list by states in Durham, NC "Flying Circus English Cars" for anyone with an older rover, jag, Austin Healy, MG, etc or where my 96 and 04 discos went ever since 1999.

Ok i get your point now. I'm in the Interior, so not fully up on the Vancouver area, but I know Rovalution in North Van has a very good reputation. I've bought parts from them and have been very happy with their service.
