Default Interior ceiling "canopy"

Anyone know of a good fix or guide on how to restore the ceiling inside where the fabric has seperated away? it's even worse in the one i just got because it has the lines where the sunroof in front and back would be....

Find a local upholstery shop and you can get headliner material. It has to be at least 60" wide to cover the backer and you need 2 cans of adhesive. Pull your headliner out by taking all of the front trim off, the grab bars, the rear light in the headliner and finally, the rear trim around your alpine lights. Pull the backer out of the truck, pull the fabric off and clean all of the old foam off. Spray the adhesive on the new fabric and the backer. Press the new material on and trim to fit. Then just slap it back in the truck. Takes about 3 hours...

Could you walk me through how to remove and install headliner? Or where can get that info or see pics of those? Thank you for your help!

Just take it to a place that does window tinting and remote car starters and car alarms etc. They can fix it for pretty cheap.

A temporary fix: Take a regular stapler, open it up and staple the areas that are coming down. You can be very discrete in the positioning of the staples and they will hold for a while, or till you get time to take the headliner out.

After it is done, you cannot notice the staples unless you are sleeping in it and looking up at the headliner... just joking. But please do not go crazy with the stapler or put too much pressure on the cardboard backing of the headliner

I have used this method on the 2000 SD. Would I do this on my 2004 SE, probably not.
