Default The Junkyard Rover

so here are a couple pics of the disco i picked up from the salvage yard last week for 600 bucks... it runs surprisingly well and shifts pretty smooth... the t-case lever is, of course, seized up due to inactivity... but all these problems will be sorted out in time...

i keep forgetting to look at the odometer and see how many miles it has......

Is it just me, or does it have a little lift on it already? Sweet find, by the way.

You should send me the tail light guards.... =)

i am pretty sure it has no lift... i think it was owned by, from my best guess, a slightly larger woman of color... the leather on the driver seat is worn out from sliding in and out, it has black seat covers with cherries on them, and a front license plate that says "baby gurl", hence what i shall call it from now on... but yeah it does sit higher than my other rover when i got it... i need to check the miles and see what its got... maybe it just doesnt have a lot of miles and the stock springs are just not worn out like all of ours... im gonna poo myself if i get in there and it only has like 40,000 miles or some ridiculous crap like that...

destroyed front driveshaft, steering column busted and wiring cut, just not taken care of at all... all previous repairs look like hack jobs... if i can keep it running enough to get my money out of it on the trails and still have a spare everything for the short bus i will be more than happy... already thanks to this thing for the first time since i bought it all the power windows in the xd now work wooooo!!!

I found a pair like that for $1500. I could make a good one and part the other one out for at least two grand. I can't decide if it is worth the effort. I also found an 02 that is real nice but lost the front shaft and busted a fuel line for $500. What do ya think?
