Default Just had an accident....

Well, it is pouring here in SD and I unfortunately rear ended a small suv that was stopped when I got off the freeway. To make a long story short, I need a new grill, passenger headlight, the trim underneath each headlight and bumper. No fender or hood damage and the truck is driveable thank god.

Anyone know of a good used parts place??

I don't wanna go through insurance since $1,000 deductible. I found a pair of lights for $100 on ebay so now i need a grill and trim.

roverlandparts.com is good as spike mentioned. The only thing with Ebay is you dont know what you'll get. We have run into a few issues with sellers in the past so I am always reluctant to buy from there.... But then again, there is always the chance you'll finda great deal!

Glad no one got hurt, and that the rover is drivable!

Yeah, just bought a grill off of ebay for $79 shipped and it is in perfect condition. Pretty good price I though....

After a more thorough look at the truck, the damage is purely superficial. Now I need aHeadlight fixing kit, 3 headlight adjuster sockets, Pass. Headlight and Driver trim beneath headlight. Bumper too but it is too much money for a new one.

Anyone have a used bumper?

If you're not making a claim to your insurance, who's paying for the damage to the small SUV?

What year is your truck??
If its under 2003 (and if its a DII) you could go ahead and do the 03-04 headlight conversion. Just a thought... of course if you already have and 03 or 04 then u already have the cool headlights.

I'm paying out of pocket for the POS SUV I hit. A 2001 Ford Escape with unpainted bumpers. I can get a brand new one and install it for $120.

My truck is also a 1996....
