Default Kingsborne wires - problematic install without intake removal?

Can these be done the same way without removing the intake like the magnecor wires? I think I may have heard that they have different style connectors and may be more problematic with the tight fit at the firewall. Can anyone clarify?

Default Kingsbourne wires

I just installed the Kingsbourne wires about 3 weeks ago, not problematic. If you have SAI, you'll need to remove the tube across the back of the engine. It's just a tight space, just take your time and you shouldn't have any problems.

I installed them on my '99 late last summer. Not problematic, just tight spaces...if you can enlist someone with small hands it will go a lot faster...

Default Not bad

I have SAI on mine also....I was able to replace the wires with Kingsborne without too much effort. My hands are large and they were pretty marked up by the time I was done...but it wasn't a difficult job.

Are you still satisfied with your Kingsborne wires? Are they 8mm?

Default Plug Wires

I am happy with the Kingsbourne, haven't had any issues. I think I have actually seen a little bit better gas mileage also. Yes, I installed the 8mm.

uuuuggggg Im about to do this.. put it off for 3 years lol but after doing the upper and lower ball joints this should be a cinch! hahaha when I bought disco 3 years ago it had a rough idle but they said it was coil an wires and I had them replace them with new and it was better... not perfect but better... now its pretty smooth for a long time but lately P0307 and some 133.134.135.155 codes here and there... I'm going to start with wires then look into MAF condition... but I know wires need to be changed... Ive been using BOSCH Iridium plugs from the first month of ownership so I thought maybe something in that #7 cylinder but pulled plug and it was clean

I just replaced my stock wires with the Kingsbourne 8mm wires, but I was getting rid of 2 misfires codes, so I wanted to replace coil packs, plugs and wires. The whole job went a lot faster than i thought it would. For the coil pack, i had to remove the upper intake, but it made installing wires super easy. I wired the coil pack before installing and just ran the wires all at once to each side as a bunch.
