Default Lack of Power

I have yet another problem with my 2000 Series II with 130,000kms (80,000 miles) on the clock.

When I gently accelerate around 40 - 50mph after coasting down from a higher speed the truck seems to to be very sluggish. It is usually in 4th or O/D at this speed. I know the truck is no rocket, but this does not seem normal. The tone from the engine is different too, like it is labouring to pick-up speed. I would almost equate it to driving a manual shift in third gear at too slow a speed and it struggling to get up to speed.

Any thoughts guys.
