Default led strip running lights...

Just installed fyreflys 24inch side emitting led strips. $12 EBAY. Cut 6 leds off each strip, fits great. Fuse tapped the 15amp engine fuse. Look great daytime, awesome at night. Using the 15 amp engine fuse, the lights are on anytime the key is in on position. Added coolness factor, when key is off the light shut off in about 8 seconds, kinda like interior lights.....

Default led strip install

Remove headlights. The plastic 2in strip under headlight unsnaps, last edge is plastic rivet, dont need to remove it, plenty of room. Strips are 3m adhesive backed. Side emitting led strips are 3/16in, and face em ourward. adhered to headlight clear plastic after good cleaning,(had electrical contact cleaner laying around, put on rag and wiped.) Fuse tapped the underhood f2 circuit. About 45min work....

Default Looks good mike...

Ordered a 7.5 inch 36w newtes LED bar to fit between my $17 Harbor Freight off-road lights. $58 EBAY. Will upload pic when delivered/installed. Have off-road lights hooked up to relay to come on anytime bright lights are selected. Huge difference at night driving up north, giving the deer a chance to get the hell outta my way. After that gonna cut clear plexiglass to fit rear red fog lights and install led or halogen lamps, use them as rear work lights, hooking up trailer at night, loading the sleds, etc. Also get that annoying mini-van 3 ft off my bumper......

I'm with you Mike. I RARELY like the aftermarket LED lights on cars. They look to cheap, kid'ish and added on. But these actually look pretty close to a stock look. Nice job finding the correct balance.

EDIT: Here's a link to the product web site:
