Checking my wallet again to decide... LOL. Maybe I’ll just steal my winch off the LR3 I gave to the gf... she won’t really need it..

Was this sitting in an abandoned Land Rover Dealerships showroom for 17 years before you found it? It looks brand new. That's an awesome Rover and the winch and bumper set up. I'm not sure if I want to see you use it though, You might get her dirty.

it probably won’t get dirty since it’s mostly for looks. If I actually used it I probably would have bought a warn. I don’t do anything crazy enough to get stuck Mostly just trails while camping

For normal trail use you will be fine. Warn VR = 100% China, and a lot of their higher level winches do in fact have Chinese parts. However they will try to justify the $$$$$ = 100% USA and that is 100% false. Warn will have a faster in/out line speed, but the HF Winch will get your D2 out with no issues.

That ARB Bumper with a 12k winch means you can go anywhere solo that has trees. The ARB with shipping is expensive as hell. If there way any similar bumper .. say for a Jeep that you could buy and weld that would be great

What your the total cost of the Harbor Freight Winch and ARB Bumper - Paying someone to install? How much you think it would have cost if you didn't DIY ?

The winch was on sale for 299$ and the bumper was 200$ And I had to buy a bunch of hardware so total 550$. I did it myself it was interesting because you have to have a long drill bit to drill through the frame to mount a few of the bolts but overall wasn’t bad

Specifically wanted a hidden winch mount, no HD bumper- stock for aesthetic. In that particular position.
have a warm 12k Zeon S waterproof (quickly submersible without issues)

What Ice cave in hell did you find a $1,200 ARB Bumper for $200? I've been trying to find one of those forever. I don't want to pay $1200 for a new one when I can buy used and all the used ones I see are just as much.. The lowest one online right now some dunk wants $750+$350 shipping "firm".
