As for tires in " size, alot of guys on here like the General Grabber AT2.

The price is a little high, I would shoot at the low $5000 plus range, mileage and looks are good. You don't need to worry about a CDL at this point, it is not hooked up. As for a warranty, I doubt you will find any "GOOD" warranty company writing paper on one with this mileage.
As for tires, just get the cheapest deal you can and know that your will need tires soon, a major service and possibily a rebuit front drive shaft.
By the way, I have a 99 D2 and swear by it.

AK Rover... my bad on the CDL. I overlooked it was a Disco 2 and not a 1. Is the fuel filter in the same location on these? There's a sign of good maintenance. Whoever posted that it would take 3 hours to change if it had been neglected was right!!

I actually post good info once in awhile.
Now change the fuel filter once a year and it will take you 15 min, if you wait two years it will take you three hours again.
And just a FYI, DII's do not have a fuel filter.
