Default Looking for a different grill for 2003 DII

I recently saw a Discovery either online or on the road with a mesh-like grill insert. It was silver, like stone guards that go on the old fog lights and driving lamps. It looked really good and I've been searching for it ever since. Anyone know of what I'm talking about?

Also, I found a thing called a "Saudi grill" for a Series 1 Discovery, but will that fit?

Hah, I've been looking around the net for a Saudi Grill and it looks like Rover Mike has been doing the same. Mike, did you ever find one or go into producing them? If so, I'd be up for purchase. They look so good!

brumski i know i am working with you already to buy your silver 03 bumper, but i will also buy your stock grill when you hunt down the one youre looking for!

I have seen what youre talking about i think on ebay, it was more or less like an 08 range rover grill, toned down for a 03 04 disco.....does not look cheap, and is of the stainless mesh design you are speaking of......a mini me of the range grill if you will

And by the way, a D1 will not fit the D2 grille.

I contacted the guy that had them. He only sells DI grills and said that they don't fit a DII, as you said Mike.

I think I'm going to take my grill out and cut out the center bars, sand it down, and put some mesh wire in there. I've got a friend that has some experience with fabricating mesh gaurds for jeep grills, so it can't be that hard, right?
