Plenty of these in Florida and they don't have frame rot.

I need to move South, everything up here in New England is a rust bucket. Looks clean and if the interior is decent and the engine runs that’s not a bad deal.

They are $3000 or lower in Florida. Super cheap!

I have a search agent on Craigslist. A new one shows up every week. These things are a dime a dozen around my neck of the woods.

If that runs decent and front end is not banged up...a good cleaning, wheeling and wax...and l bet you could flip it for a couple grand more...if not more. That's pretty low mileage nowadays, most l'm running across lately are 170/180 mark. Kind of a unique color, blue doesn't pop up often around here either.

I know Florida would be better than some areas but I wouldn't write-off rust as a possibility. Humidity is a major contributor to the rust cocktail. I have heard but can't confirm proximity to ocean air maybe being salty can add up as well. My D2 spent most of its life in Colorado which is high and dry. At 175k the worst rust could be wiped off by hand or a wire brush. Here in Missouri rust can be pretty bad. We don't get the winters like the NE so salt season is only a month or so at worst in total days but humidity goes 365 days a year.

I'm thinking I may be able to start a business buying up D2's in Florida and driving them up to replace frame rot in the north!
