I bought a sun shade cut exactly for the D2 on Amazon for around $35. Well worth it here in Texas and anywhere else the sun shines.

Along this line, my driver side seat ('01 Bahama Beige) is beginning to look like a chewtoy at the lion exhibit- I've checked out ebay for replacement seats, but was wondering if there were better options, ie: new seat skins, etc- thanks as always!

You could always find a custom upholstery shop and go crazy! Depends on pocket book? Shipping one seat will not be to bad call Marty Powell or find some bone yard there in FL. They are not in the junk yard because of the interior. Most of the time.

dont pay to have the whole seat shipped unless you need a whole seat just have them ship you the cover. the seat comes apart and the cover comes off fairly quickly once out of the car.

You might check with Paul Grant, I believe he has a D2 in the color you need.

Another option for you, since you're in Tampa, is Roverland Parts. They're located in Tampa, and while I wouldn't go to them for a lot of things, they do have some good prices on certain used parts.
