In Denver at 6000 feet, I average 14 in town and 18 under 70 MPG on the road.

I haven't taken a road trip in a long time, so I don't have a highway figure. I average 13.7 MPG city driving 5.5 miles at a time, four times a day to and from work, plus a few miles here and there on errands.

That's the great thing about forums is the tidbits of info from various sources. Sounds like Hilltoppersx and my Disco are similiar in MPG. Disco Mike I envy your MPG. What is the opinion of getting that extra MPG out of your Disco such as products, additives etc. or other info that can be passed on to everyone?

I religiously try different products such as Techron, Seafoam Lucas gas treatments. I've tried Mobil One synthetic and Royal Purple synthetic before moving on to Rotella T6. I originally used KNN oil filters before moving onto Mobil One #301 filter. I clean the intake and carb as Disco Mike suggests every other oil change.

Currently will be adding (on order) a digital oil pressure gauge from Cyberdyne to compliment the Ultra Gauge.

Thanks!

Truck has an extra 600 pounds on her, 265 tires with 4:11 gears, a lot of good gas and 44K twice a year.
