Default My custom bumper!

Ok, this started about 2 months ago when I decided to make my own bumper because I didn't like anything on the market. My first bumper was started and I made a trip to the desert and had a run in with a jeep and unfortuneately because it wasn't finished it gave to protection and bent the front section of the frame leaving me with this -





With some time and effort with a grinder and arc welder I remolded the frame and built a new bumper. This is a shot of the sub frame going in -



And last weekend I installed the winch tray and wings on the sides -




There is still a lot of welding to do and I need to make a grille and was going to go with a metal box with a chicken wire mesh to give it that safari look. And once everything is done I'll be adding a winch to the top of the whole thing. Also the holes in the front are for the bars to attach the D rings to.

I just finished adding a few more pieces and am currently working on the new grille. No more plastic! I hope you guys like it.

I like it. The grille isn't my cup of tea, but looks solid. Have you asked the Jeep for a rematch?
