My dad looking at an H3
Bare with me for a minute:
My dad is in the Dominican Republic and called me about an H3 he was looking at. I researched online and saw it has an inline 5. Huh? That makes no sense. Those things must be heavier than ours right? Maybe not.
In any case, and this is how it's related to LR's and DII's (ha!) I'm going to try to convince him to pick up a DII instead. That way, I can at least help and guide him if needs it. Not to mention, it's a real truck.
Anyone have experience owning both? C'mon, help me with my pitch and comparison points here.
Thanks.

The H3 is a Chevy Colorado only its full time 4x4, diff lockers and ugly.
The H2 is a Chevy Trailblazer, both use the same chassis so they are about the same weight but the Trailblazer uses a I6.
The only problem with the DII in the Dominican Republic is that they are very hard to get parts for and parts are very expensive.
He is better off with a American or Japanese car or truck and in which case I'd get a Toyota or a Mitsubishi and a Nissan as my third choice.

They are pretty reliable and will take you most of places you want to go! Back window is tiny and the interior is pretty comfortable for what it is. Its has a great distribution of its weight and enough power to climb hills, also has a decent clearance allowing one to go threw or over obstacles. I say go for it parts are not to expensive and readily available.
