Default MY08 Disco 3 ipod integration

Gday punters this is my first post here. I've recently purchased a Discovery 3 MY08 SE model with the standard stereo system and i was wondering if there was any solutions re plugging in an ipod?I'm not talking about an FM receiver setup, I would like to get a hardwired solution if possible. Does anyone know if land rover have an OEM solution that will make me happy?

Thanks for any information in advance guys.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I've been saving this old thread if I ever get around to hooking up my ipod: https://landroverforums.com/m_42219/tm.htm

There islink in one of the postson hooking up an ipod. I haven't looked at it too closely, but it looks like a good set-up. Let us know if youdo it. What's a punter?

What's a punter?
The most common use of punter is probably the slang or colloquial use in both British and Australian English meaning a paying guest or customer. More specialized usages include: in Britain (primarily in London and Essex), a punter may be the patron of a brothel; in Britain and Australia, a punter may be a gambler, particularly an amateur betting on horse racing or a player in the game of Baccarat, or a beginner skier or snowboarder, especially one with particularly bad style. In all these senses there may be an implication that the punter is going to pay more than he needs to.

Not sure what he was going for though....

yes, land rover calls it the audio conductivity module.
when working the tracks list in the rover display and using
the steering wheel controls you can control the tracks
on the ipod.

You also might want to try this post in the LR3 section.
In the United States a Discovery III is called an LR3 and the people in that section might be able to help you a bit more. But the Discovery I and II people are pretty bright as well so you might get what you are looking for here!
