Default need an ACE to help w/my bladder

Need an expert on the air suspension. My indy mechanic has a good deal of experience but this is puzzling him.

125K Disco 2000 - replaced the air springs in 2007 andleft side is intermittantly dropping to stops when left overnight, sometimesshortperiod. At other times, (like whenthe mechanichad it for 3 days), stays inflated. He inspected the spring and it appears to be in good shape - no leaksdetected with soapy water. Lines also look intact throughout.

Thought it might have happened more often when parked on uneven land, but not sure about this. Note that this began to happen after I used lift function a couple of times for no particular reason except to break something (Success!). Any ideas where to look next?

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on succeeding at breaking something. I would check to make sure the line going to that airbag is not leaking at the pump itself. I don't know much about the air suspension but that is my first thought. Do you have any problems with the other side? Does the lift function still work?

Thanks, man - I live to keep the parts fresh. Did have a problem with right first, that's when both got replaced. I will check near the pump, but think that's been done already. Lift still worked last time, though I really don't feel like trying it again. Is there a leveling valve or other "out of the way" gadgetry???

I drive a D1 so I don't have anything as fancy as airbag suspension. I really don't know much about the system, just mentioning what I thought of. I would also check the entire hose. If it uses those plastic hoses like most airbag system there could be a minor crack somewhere that allows the air to slow bleed off. I'm sure a D2 driver will chime in and say I'm way off but figured I'd at least offer what came to my mind.

I'm no expert on the SLS, but if no leaks were found in the system, the next thing I'd check out would be the height sensor.

slow leak doesn't fit the bill - when it drops, it drops fairly fast. Raining like crazy here, so when that's done, I'm gonna get under the truck and have a look around. Anyone have a schematic or a general diagram of the system?
thanks again!

Have the height sensor reading checked. Check for corrosion in the height sensor connector, leaks along the line, at the valve block.
You could also havea corner valve that is at fault(opening/closing when not commanded to do so). Check for faults logged in the
SLABS ecu.
