Are you still running the factory springs or has it been lifted?

You have the same problem when the Disco first came out in England. To tall for the Garage door openings, most owners dug the floor out.

Good LUCK

I don't know, lowering a disco by suspension 2" might look pretty silly. Couple questions, can't tell by your photo:
1. Do you have roof rails? My '04 does, that removes about 1.5" if you took them off.
2. Running stock tires? Could consider lower profile sport truck tires if you don't off-road, should give you about 1/2" possibly
3. Not sure about this one (anyone?) - can you possibly adjust the rear height sensors for the SLS?

you could install the H1 inflation system and deflate/inflate your tires when needed. Kinda silly, though.

Have a suspension shop see if they can cut/re-coil the front springs and have someone with an Autologic scanner re-program the height sensors for the airbags. Probably not going to find many people on here that have lowered their truck. Good suggestion above about taking the rack off the top. Have to drop the headliner, but you can fill the holes easily. If you drop it, make sure you have good shocks so you don't bottom out.

Start eating more McDonalds and date a fat girl....

No, seriously. I don't know how it would work on a disco, but if you have coils all the way around any custom auto shop can heat the springs and compress them .. I have friends that have done this in sport trucks. I don't know how it'll affect you're ride or the life of the springs though. Low profile tires are probably the safest bet,but more $$.

I do have roof rails... they also go all the way back.. although one of them is now bent in a V shape...

How did they cover the holes with the rack off??

I do have the stock sirze tires on...
