need replacement window - rear door passenger side
i need a lead on replacing the little triangle shaped window on the passenger side back door.
i also need to know what to do in order to replace it?
suggestions ?
there is something about clear tape on a window that just doesnt look land rover-ish...
bailng wire? roverish.
zip-ties? very roverish
duct tape? roverish
100 MPH duct tape (the stuff the army uses) ROVERISH!
clear tape - not so much...

Here is what you do, call your insurance agent on Mon because when you were at the mall today the window was broken, no note, nothing, just a broken window.
Your glass coverage will cover it, you were not at fault so no deductible.
Problem solved.

Wait, wait, wait, you have a 2000 and do NOT have full coverage? Are you crazy?
I have full coverage on my 1997, with towing, lockout, gas and glass coverage.
If I get in a accident I cannot afford to buy a new truck.
Towing, lockout, gas and glass coverage add $12 per year to my policy.
We have the same full coverage on my wifes 1995 Volvo.

That sucks. I will have to envestigate this before I move to another state, if I ever move to another state.
Gotta have glass coverage.
I realize you dont have snowplows in TX, but here in MI they are a big reason for cracked windshields, the salt kicks up and hits the cold glass and BAM!, cracked windshield.
What really sucks though is if you have a annual state park sticker (it lets you into every state park for free all year and only costs $26), the insurance company will not buy you a new one.
SO if you get a new windshield you have to buy a new state park pass.
