Default Need some advice on a lift

Alright so I'm looking to get a slight lift with my stock disco II and i have been looking around and i found this kit

Im not sure what to make of it. I am pretty new to the forms and to land rovers/off-roading in general and i would appreciate a little help before i put the money into getting this setup.

I plan to take my rover on medium level trails but mostly just camping so i need something thats going to let it flex while also being able to held up to a full car of people and light gear.

If your budget can handle a good suspension buy a medium duty OME, lot more money but a far better /quality set up that will last as long as you own your truck.
Do you ever plan on a front bumper/winch set up, this will also make a difference in what to buy.

For my two cents, I'm not a big lift guy with any of my vehicles but I did a medium duty OME springs with terra firma shocks and a 1 inch poly spacer. one and a half to two inches for a little clearance and so front winch didn't lower front end too much. Still drives well and doesn't lose the look.
Never skimp on suspension components.

Alright, thanks for the information. I may put some bumpers on next year some time but not in the near future. I'm assuming that if I do put a winch I'll be able to just put some spacers in the front, but again I'm new to most of this. I'm willing to spend $550 maybe a little more but I'm tight on money.

Spacers may lift up a sagging front end when a winch and bumper are installed but you need the extra load rating, not the lift to make it all work.
If you plan on adding these parts, go H.D. with the lift to start or you will just have to make changes next year loose some parts in the process.

I recently installed the 3" OME lift from Lucky8 LLC and its awesome. Didn't need to add extended brake lines or ABS sensor wires.
I will be adding those once the sway bars come off so the larger articulation doesn't pull them apart. But if your not planning on doing any heavy off roading, I wouldn't worry.

I bought that same kit for one of my discos last year and am very pleased with the performance of it.
