Default New Brush Guard...need opinions.

Anyone have this brush guard or know anything about this manufacturer (Bottorf Fabrication)?

I really like the looks of this bumper and is a few hundred less then ARB and Safari Gard. Let me know what ya'll think!

it looks pretty nice, i googled them but couldnt find anything. i myself am in the same boat, kind of, car accident two weeks ago might take insurance check and up grade to ARB... decisions decisions
good luck

i know for sure you will have to change out the washer fluid reservoir or have someone make you a custom one.if you dont change it out it will hang below the bumper line and you will see it.

If you click on the phone number under their name it is a link and takes you to their website.

Their rock sliders look pretty solid also.

Here is their website... http://www.bottorf-fabrication.com/

That is not a brush guard, it is a metal after market replacement bumper.
Has been out long and I haven't heard anything goood or bad about it.
Do you alread have a HD lift to handle that extra weight?

if you have fog lights now it looks like you will not have them with the new bumper. at least thats what i can see from the pics on the website.

I have seen this before, and i LIKE it, It sits close under the headlights but keeps the winch out in front of the grille so you dont need to butcher the grille to fit the winch. Looks like someone thought about it to me.

The only thing I would change is fit "swivel shackles" in place of the welded rings on the front, they would offer more strength when pullling at angles, apart from that it looks good. Would buyone if I lived over there. Cannot comment on the strength of it tho, but sometime you have to try things out to see how good they are.

With the weight of that bumper and winch, you will need the 751 front coils, 779's won't handle it.

All depends on how you mount it, you will still have your crash sensors, they will probably just trigger at a higher speed impact.
