RE: New Disco SD7 owner
The SD is the base model, LE is the mid level and HSE is the top of the line.
The XD was a special edition, limited production and came with factory extras line roock rack, brush guard, special paint and hood black out to name a few.
Welcome to our forum.
The biggist issure with the DI is that you MUST use premium gas.
Change the oil every 3,000 miles if you use dino oil, every 5,000 if you use full synthetic.
And DO NOT overheat the engine, it is all aluminum and if you do you will be buying a new engine.

The trim levels are SD, SE, LSE and XD (LE model showed up in 98, HSE I believe came with the introduction of the D2s)
SD, like Spike said, is the base model. Usually no sunroofs, cloth interior, manual seat adjustments
SE adds power, heated leather seats, dual sunroofs
LSE is top of the line and very rare from what I have read. I lucked out and found one without really knowing at the time how rare they are. Couldn't tell you what separates a SE from a LSE except possibly wood grain trim in the LSE. Haven't looked at a SE model so I don't know for sure.
XD is modeled after the Camel Trophy trucks. The coolest of the bunch in my opinion because of all the off-road goodies they came with.
If anyone happens to know exactly what the difference between an LSE and SE model is I would like to know. I would hate to have to go find an SE for sale and check it out, I'd probably want to buy it.
