New motor won’t start

Are you sure you are installing the CPS correctly? I would double check it. The shop that I had my truck towed to put one of the spacers for the bolt over the pintle of the CPS and reinstalled it.......Sure enough when i took it apart in the parking lot i noticed this. Make sure its all back together correctly.

also try a spark plug tester to make sure its outputting spark at the spark plug. just a couple ideas. good luck

To follow up on my last post, it appears that the tach doesn’t move until the engine kicks over. Here’s an old video:

Can you smell gas after you crank it a few and lift the hood? After a few attempts with no smell I'd say fuel pressure is the issue.

No gas for sure. Fuel rail is dry. Need to figure out why.

I will ask again: did you reset the inertia fuel cut-off switch?

Yes I reset the switch under the hood. My 4ways were flashing and it was tripped when I first tried to start it.

I jumped the relay and can hear the pump running.

I got it. Lol. Dumb mistake. Had the cps spacers on the inside instead of the out.
fired right up. 50psi oil pressure cold at idle, 27 at idle at temp. Yahoo
