I'll post up my fuel use log and temp changes in a few see if it makes any difference!

i have the safari thermo and new radiator but i'll wait to put those in to see if theres any direct change with the clutch alone... plus, im poor. haha

 

what radiator did you go with? I need to get one...

 

Radiator had to go in at the same time as the thermo and fan clutch, wasnt planning on it but the rad was leakin more then I thought and they already had the car in the garage so what the hell.

My fan clutch hadnt been working pretty much at all so my temps had been about 199 highway, around town it stayed about 215, sitting at a light it would spike at 224 and the fans would take it back down to 210ish then creap back up.

after new radiator, colder thermostat, fan clutch, amsoil coolant with watterwetter thrown in... the last week or so the highway temps are about 195-197, around town the temps are about 194, and sitting idle the temps spike to 204 then drop.

overall not what i was expecting judging by what other people have posted about thier temp ranges with the colder thermo. new clutch roars pretty decent at first start up but doesnt seem to roar when it gets hot, but the temps still are better then they were obviously when it wasnt functioning at all. maybe it just needs to be bled again.

i still have to go through a recycle of the obd2 before it gets to open loop so as soon as that happens ill see what kind of difference in miliage if any the new front o2s provide.

 

Did you use the LR thermostat or the Motorad? The Motorad tends to run a little hotter. I have one and my temps are similar to yours.
