Congrats to the OP on the new truck and wishes for a speedy recovery.

you are right about cars that come from SoCal. mine came from there. it was like a brand new truck. it literally had no dirt or grime anywhere under the body or chassis. it was a concrete roller. and then i got my sloppy hands on it mwahahahhaha

I like the tire cover and it's functional. I do prefer the hard plastic one though.

Good luck on the ankle repairs, dang, that is why you always keep your hands and arms in the car.....I am looking at a 2004 with less than 70k miles. Has a few issue, sai pump and an air bag light. Will need the full 60k mile service as well. Nice looker. Question, is the 04 much different than the '01, I currently have a '99 DI and the '01 DII. THoughts. Phil

Sorry, better is not necessarily the word I wanted to use, if the overall usefulness, utility, performance and maintenance an improvement over the '01. Is it worth the additional $4000-$5000 grand over what I paid for each of the other two? Thanks Phil

Man that does suck! The only climbing injuries I've encountered are broken wrists and flappers! If you need any rehab advice shoot me a pm and I'll help you out. Please post the pics so I can use them in my class next year (I don't have any good climbing injury pics)
